Employee Wellness Benefit
Employees are eligible to receive up to $550 annually in wellness reimbursement dollars. In 2025, Spouses who participate in a VCM medical plan are eligible to receive up to $275 annually.

100% up to the allowed amount (or amount incurred by the employee/spouse) paid up-front with enrollment documentation. |
All Other Eligible Expenses as Listed |
50% (pre-tax) of each individual covered expense up to the yearly maximum. |
Resources
Eligible Expenses:
- Weight loss programs, including Weight Watchers, Jenny Craig, etc. (excludes food costs)
- Gym/Fitness club Membership fees
- On-line training sessions
- Entrance fees for Races, Walks (5K, Charity Fund Raisers, etc.)
- Smoking Cessation Programs
- Fitness class fees (Jazzercise, yoga, etc.)
- Exercise videos, books, or DVDS
- Equipment typically found in a fitness facility including treadmills, weight sets, Pilate balls, resistance bands, bicycles, etc. (excludes apparel and shoes).
- Massages
- Acupuncture
- Visits with a dietitian or fitness trainer
Medical Premium Reduction Opportunity
Living healthy, exercising regularly, and keeping your preventive health screenings up to date is a personal choice, one we think you should be rewarded for. Therefore, beginning with our 2025 Benefits Open Enrollment, VCM will be implementing a premium reduction opportunity for employees participating in a VCM medical plan.
A $50* monthly premium credit will be applied for employees who participated in the Preventive Health 2024 Premium Reduction Program.
A $25* monthly premium credit will be applied for spouses who participated in the Preventive Health 2024 Premium Reduction Program.
Preventive services can prevent disease, identify conditions early and promote good health. The goal of preventive care visits is to identify health risks and conditions that can lead to chronic disease early on, when they are easier to treat.
One of the best things we can do for ourselves and those we care about is to get our checkups and preventive care tests regularly.
