BENEFITS OVERVIEW

The following benefits will continue, with no change to coverage or costs for current participants, through 6/30/2025. You will remain enrolled in the Plan you are in at closing.


MEDICAL INSURANCE – Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts

  • Three (3) Plans
    • 1. Blue Care Elect Saver 90 (HDHP)
    • 2. Blue Care Elect Preferred 90 with Co-pay
    • 3. Blue Care Elect Preferred
  • Free preventive care, including annual checkups and immunizations
  • Personalized health services and online tools to help you manage your health, health decisions, and healthcare dollars

HEALTH SAVINGS ACCOUNT “HSA” and FLEXIBLE SPENDINGS ACCOUNTS (FSA) – WageWorks/Health Equity

  • The Health Savings Account allows you to set aside pre-tax dollars for qualified health expenses in the future.
    • Balance rolls over year after year.
    • The HSA contribution limits for 2025 are $4,300 for self-only coverage and $8,550 for family coverage. This runs on a calendar-year basis and the amount resets on January 1st of every year.
  • The Medical, Limited, and Dependent Care FSA’s help you save money on medical and depended-care expenses.
    • Use-it or lose it provision. You must spend the money in this account by the end of the year.
    • The FSA contribution limits for 2025 is $3,300. This runs on a calendar-year basis.

DENTAL INSURANCE – Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts

  • Two (2) Plans 
    •  1. Dental Blue 
    •  2. Dental Blue with Orthodontics 
  • Preventive care covered 100%

VISION INSURANCE – UnitedHealthcare Vision

  • Vision examinations are covered once every 12 months 
  • Prescription lenses are covered once every 12 months 
  • Frames are covered once every 24 months 
  • Prescription contact lenses are covered once every 12 months

LIFE AND DISABILITY – The Standard

  • Basic Life, Voluntary Life, and Short-Term Disability will continue through The Standard. 
  • Short Term Disability replaces your income should you become disabled work-related illness or injury. You will receive 100% of your Predisability Earnings for the first 8 weeks and then 60% of your Earnings for the remainder of the 6-month maximum benefit period.

SUPPLEMENTAL LINES OF COVERAGE – The Standard

  • Accident, Critically Illness, and Hospital Indemnity will continue to be in effect through The Standard. 
  •  Helps cover costs not addressed by standard medical plans relating to illness, injuries, and hospital admission costs.

ADDITIONAL BENEFIT OFFERINGS

  • Commuter Benefit, Nationwide Pet Insurance, LegalEASE, Allstate Identity Protection, and AllOne Health Employee Assistance Program will continue to be offered through 6/30/2025.
